Dr. Jull is a Cornell University trained Sociologist and the Manager of Applied Research Northwest in Bellingham, WA.  She is an expert in both qualitative research and quantitative advanced statistical processes and techniques with specialties in research methods, survey design, family and social policy, program evaluation and statistical analysis. 

Dr. Jull has conducted, coordinated and directed program evaluations and survey research for a wide variety of state and local agencies, as well as community non-profits, and health care organizations. She has been responsible for the production of state and national polls, community surveys, academic presentations and technical reports.

As manager of Applied Research Northwest since January 1999, Dr. Jull is the owner and director of a social science research firm housing its own computer-aided-telephone interviewing call center.  In that capacity, she has overseen project management, program evaluation, statistical methods and research design for a variety of health, education, environment and political research projects.  This firm has four full-time employees and between eight and eighteen part time employees. 

From September 2000 to June 2005, Dr. Jull served as Director of the Office of Survey Research at Western Washington University, leading consulting and project management for university-based assessment and accountability research and self-supporting research projects for local and state organizations.  Projects included survey construction, research design, management and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, and report writing.  As Research Associate in the Office of Survey Research, Dr. Jull assisted and managed projects for University-based assessment and accountability research.  She directed self-supporting evaluation research projects for the Washington State Employment Security Department.

As Visiting Assistant Professor at Western Washington University's Department of Sociology (1996 to 2000), Dr. Jull had full- and part-time teaching responsibilities for a variety of undergraduate and upper division courses including introductory and advanced statistics, the sociology of work, sociology of the family, and social policy research. 

Dr. Jull received her Ph.D. and Masters Degree in Sociology from Cornell University, Ithaca.  Her B.A. degree, also in Sociology, was received at University of North Carolina at Charlotte, NC. (Cum Laude).
